Kirk Cameron’s Monumental project, journey, and challenge to you

Fireproof star Kirk Cameron is trying to put out a major inferno, and he is hoping American families can help him. Moved by the major economic, political, and moral woes facing the United States, Cameron has been at work over the past couple years on a film project that chronicles his personal journey to historic sites across Europe and the United States, where he sought to discover the “secret recipe” that has made America the freest, richest country in history. Cameron hopes the resulting documentary, Monumental: In Search of America’s National Treasure, will help provide a path forward for today’s Americans.
“Now this is my project, but it’s about all of us, it’s about our kids and securing a monumental future for them,” he said. “How do we teach them the truths that will set them free internally and externally for the world that they live in and secure their future?”

Well we've lost that ounce of prevention called the constitution when the FED and IRS were created. Now the constitution is eroded beyond recognition. It's going to take alot more than a pound of cure to fix what ails america. Hoping for change we can beleive in a joke. God's elect might as well get ready for harder times to come as we watch the abortion mills crank away and let the elite live off welfare of what's left of the middle class. George Soros is getting what he wants a New World Order" Ron Paul has at best a 1 trillion $ tax cut. That's not the pound of cure we need. I support him but my God the restoratoin of the constitution isn't even on the horizon except in his speeches. I seriously doubt that will happen at this point. It's time for a complete diaper change in the congress and the senate and all offices of political power.
Regrettably, if true, I can see that this will probably be but another resource that at some point therein will laud the framer's and their secular, anti-Christian, polytheistic promoting Constitution as some great Biblical, Christian part of America's history, and that, therefore, will some day have to be burned (Acts 19:18-20) along with all of the other books, videos, etc. that have been involved in this same sedition against Yahweh, the God of the Bible.

Jeff, it's one thing to say it; it's another thing to prove your claim. Until you do, yours is just an opinion. I have 37 chapters posted in which I examine every article and amendment by Yahweh's morality as found in His Word. I would think if your estimation is true that you would be able to offer something therefrom and then from the Bible, the Constitution, and prime source documents, demonstrate where it is wrong.

Can't wait to see this movie! America needs to be nurtured with reminders of our courage and strength…to fight for the little guy…to fight for self determination…to fight for the right to worship God without being ridiculed, dismissed, or sued. Dare I say One nation under God? Before WWII is written out of our children's history books I hope that my grandchildren's eyes will still be open enough to appreciate the gift of freedom and courage has been handed down to us.
I don't need to see the movie to know what happened! I have watched it all take place,at a time when people have come out of the depression and WW2 and were so busy just living,they were so inclusive with thier own lives they trusted who they put into office,not understanding the "cancer"of the Federal Reserve,over the years that cancer spread to those in office,both sides of the isle, into government hardly anyone working in DC and Government that doesn't come into contact with it. There are a few in DC that know what is happening,a few that aren't greedy,but it has gotten so "few" that thay can't make a difference..There is no hope for America unless RON PAUL is elected,and gets rid of the Federal Reserve,but it is possible that Jesus may return before he gets a chance…If he gets close to being elected, I fear for him,unless Obama is thrown out of office for being illegal…We need to pray and put it in GODS hands…
Ron Paul is not God. There is still hope for America regardless of who is elected president this year. The Bible has not changed, God has not changed, He is the same yesterday, today and forever and He still rules over the affairs of men and places over it whomsoever He chooses. If we will obey Him, "If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land, He will do just what He says, heal our land!
One election will not determine the destiny of America. The destiny of America is in the hands of God and His people. If we will continue to pray and seek His forgiveness and aid He will answer our prayers and give us the help we need to return our nation to righteousness. To "ONE NATION UNDER GOD" INDIVISIBLE WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL.
The timing is in God's hands not ours. Never give up no matter how hopeless is seems. If we were to lose this election, which I don't think we are, we have lost a battle, a very important one, I might add, but not the war. In the end we will win if we do not lose heart. When I say we I am not talking about Ron Paul's people or any other candidate's people but about the people that believe in God and his providential intervention into the affairs of man.

This is the scripture the Lord encouraged me with when I first got involved in the political arena. That was 20 years ago, since then we have won a few battles and lost some. But the war we will win by His grace. Praise the Lord!
Very well said, Keith! I would only add that our mission is not political. Our mission is to go and tell others about Him (Matt 28:19-20). It may not be a strong America that gets that done. It may take a socialist Amerika that persecutes the true church as in Acts 8:1-4 to get pew-potatoes out of their slumbers and into action.

Keith I partly agree witrh you. The part i disagree with is that God can use ONE election to forever change the lost and dying in this worl and this nation as it was meant to be. However Amercas sins are greivious. VERY VERY grevious. Even in the chruch and you must see that clearly as God does begin judgment in his onw house first. this vid wil not even mention how much sin we've commted as christians wehen we stole amerrica from the amreican indians and you can roll forward through true americas underbelly religiously from there. I suspect this will be a money maker and talk of the town for a while until the next big "thing", i hope, most don't miss the rapture if there is one coming just to see this movie. this to shall pass, i think i'll save a few bucks of my fiat currency for a local need like food or water for the homeless in my next outdoor trip. i''ll make a greater impression than those who can't feel christ who will be paying to see this for the fun of it. honestly I can't stomach these anymore i'm needed elsewhere. blessings…
The answer to the question can be found in the Protestant Reformation. America became great because of the Reformed Theology that came to these shores that began in Europe by the hands of great reformed preachers like Luther, Calvin, Bucer, Knox and many more. What these men taught are what early Americans practiced. Today, unfortunately, most Christians believe wrongly that God offers his Grace to every single living human being and it is up to us to exercise our "free will" to determine if we want to accept that offer of Grace. THIS, and only this false theology is responsible for America's declintion. Only a return to Covenant theology of the Sovereign Grace of God will save our republic. Most churches teach mythology, not the Bible. There can be no Great Awakening based on false theology.
I respectfully submit that it is more than a rejection of one theological perspective that sends a nation into moral decline. Rather, it is a rejection of the God on whom all theological perspectives originate. Therefore, I submit (also respectfully) that we renew our efforts to introduce others to Jesus Christ, and the salvation He has provided those who follow Him.

Being familiar with Mr. Cameron’s ministry, I look forward to seeing this movie. There aren’t enough pro-Christian, pro-God, pro-morals, pro-hope movies made these days. I’ll be praying for a hearty reception for this movie.

Jesus died for the sins of ALL mankind, not just those who adhere to the "reformed" theology. America is unique and special, but it is not "Israel" and the Church has not and will not replace Israel.
Anything Kirk does is quality. I'll be looking forward to this.
It seems that the movie should "sell itself" as people do see it or not. Pushing ones personal achievements seems to be against what the scriptures teach about "more of Jesus, less of me".

Your life demonstrates tour beliefs. Trying to hide in the Prophecy is nothing but the inaction of a doubter. Works doesn't gain us salvation. What WORKS(or lack of them) does demonstrate is, the trueness of FAITH.
if your FAITH is so weak that it is used as an excuse for political correctness. I submit that it is best kept hidden under a basket until ot can shine in the open.
We must always take the Bible in it's FULL context of the NEW TESTAMENT. Then we spread the TRUE meaning of THE WORD. This is what will draw us & others to SALVATION.
